MetaMask Celebrates 10 Million Monthly Active Users: 1800% Yearly Growth

Metamask wallet recently broke another personal record for growth and now has over ten million monthly active users of their wallet. In celebration, they will be hosting a party on Decentraland, coupled with a live stream of the event for those who can’t join.

Another Milestone for Metamask

After announcing their achievement on Tuesday, the popular wallet promised to host a 24-hour watch party on Decentraland to celebrate.

The party will feature a performance from twitch streamer, musician, and songwriter Mela Bee, an in-game wearable item by DappCraft, and a Proof-of-Attendance Protocol. The party will take place on September 2nd at 8 pm UTC.

Decentraland is an MMO game with decentralized ownership. calling itself “the first virtual world fully owned by its users.”

Besides traditional gaming activities like building villages and exploring dungeons, the game is also fully cryptocurrency-integrated, utilizing an ERC-20 token as the game’s native currency and requiring a wallet to play.
